Bully Hill
State Forest in the Town of Almond, Allegany County.
Description:
Over 3,400 acres of timber, water,
wildlife and recreation. Access the Bully Hill State Forest in the south
from Karr Valley Road and enter at Bully Hill Road. Sterns Road to Karr
Road also leads to Bully Hill Road. From the north you can enter off North
Almond Valley Road south to Bush Road and Ryan Road.
There are several trails here used
for universal access, hiking, snowmobiling, horseback and mountain biking.
The Finger Lakes Trail (FLT) travels northwest from Bully Hill Road all the way
to North Almond Valley Road. There is also public hunting access for
whitetail deer and turkey. A tributary stream of Karr Valley Creek crosses
Bully Hill Road.
