ON TAP

Ataxia Tripel

This is a Tripel. You’ve been warned, and maybe warmed. Alcoholic sweetness balanced by high carbonation, a touch of ginger and coriander. Yummy. Herbal, spice and citrus notes. Dangerously easy to drink!

ABV:10.1%

HEAD SKULL MIND BEER

Think of Vermont as a beer style. This Double IPA uses the Vermont (Conan) yeast, U.K. malts and four American and one U.K. hop variety, massively. Tons of light fruits, apple and peach drops, a bit zesty in the finish. ABV 7%

ABV:7%

Jammy Bastard Pale Ale

What makes this beer Jammy is the all English malt bill, Maris Otter for the base and a dash of Carastan for toastyness. Add an abundance of American hops for a citrusy edge and we’re there. At 4.5% ABV you might just find yourself under the affluence on incahol.

ABV:4.5%

Kennett-Hell Brau

Jetzt trinken wir wirklicht bier. (we’re really drinking beer now). Pale, clean, and bright as can be, toasty bread, malt forward with low bitterness but enough alcohol to inspire. 5.2%

ABV:5.2%

Ploughman Milk Stout

This is our first Milk Stout. The recipe is an agglomeration of historical London grist bills with English brown malt for a burnt cookie chocolate note, with the English ale yeast yielding a stone fruit, figgy flavor. Made velvety and rich with lactose but eminently sessionable. Recommended for general family use where a Pale Ale is not required. ABV 5.5%

ABV:5.5%

Rye Emma Chisit

About six quid, I think. A blend of rye, lots of rye, US and Flemish pale malts with a hefty addition of New Zealand late hopping (herbal, fruity white grape skin notes) make this one wicked neat beer. At 7.3 % this is a cracking pint for quaffing and then a walkabout.

ABV:7.3%

The XX Kidd

What you’re looking at is a sexy little number that would rank right up there with the best of the English Pale Ales. Crisp and creamy. Simple, elegant. Candied pears, spice drops, hay and a bit of honeyed biscuits, clean, dry with a mouth-filling stone fruit notes. Not exceedingly bitter but loads of flavor.

ABV:7.3%

Wee Wobbly Scottish 100 Schilling

This deep crimson colored scotch ale has a dark caramel note only possible with a traditional Scottish 4-hour boil. A moderate hop schedule reveals a complex flavor profile reminiscent of dark fruit and toast. Succulent finish. ABV 6.3%

KBC Bike & Brew Tour

Join us for the inaugural KBC Bike & Brew Tour to benefit the Kennett Food Cupboard!
Beginning Saturday June 17th at 10:30am we’re gonna saddle up and depart from KBC on a 50-mile tour of some of Chester County’s most beautiful country roadways. We’re not just gonna ride though, we have 4 scheduled stops along the way to keep our hydration and energy high!
From KBC we’re gonna head west out to our first stop, the famous Whip Tavern. Departing from there we’re gonna make our way a bit northeast to end up at Four Dogs Tavern. We’re going to continue east towards Dub-C and find our way to Levante Brewing Company. After that our tour is going to drop into the Small Wonder for a few miles and while there, check out Buckley’s Tavern. We’ll just have a few more hills to conquer before ending up back at KBC, for what owner Jossy says will be a “GIANT SPREAD!”
COVER the KBC BAR Challenge
Along with your registration we’re asking each rider to bring non-perishable donations for the “Cover the KBC Bar” challenge. We’re hoping to get enough goods this day so that entire copper top bar is covered with all our good givings!
This is a FUNdraising fondo. This is not a race. We’ll have a great time, some good brews and bites along the way, and a GIANT celebration at the end! Your registration gets you a cool KBC pint glass, some special offerrings from a couple of our stops along the way, and a free beer and food at KBC at the finish, again, a “GIANT SPREAD!”.
If this sounds like a cool Saturday to you, I suggest registering now, cause we’re only taking 50 riders on this tour!

Delta Cosmonauts on Sun. 5/28 at 6pm
